Nancy Morgan
RN, BSN, MBA, ET, CWCN, WCC
Co-Founder of WCEI/Clinical Instructor
An RN and Enterostomal Therapist, Nancy Morgan
combines her expertise as a Certified Wound Care Nurse,
along with her extensive background in wound care education,
wound management program development, business management
and marketing. Nancy is a nursing entrepreneur, who is an experienced and recognized international presenter. Her
motivational teaching style has inspired health care
professionals across the nation. It was Nancy’s entrepreneurial spirit that led her
to co-create the Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI).
Donna Sardina
RN, MHA, WCC
Co-Founder/Clinical Instructor
A Wound Care Certified Nurse with over 24
years of progressive nursing experience,
Donna Sardina is an expert in wound management,
wound care education, program development, and facility crisis
management. Responsible for creating WCEI’s course content, Donna’s practical approach to learning allows students to easily incorporate their new knowledge into their daily practice. Donna is a widely published author in
the field of wound care. She is a co-founder of the Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI).
Dr. Don Wollheim 
MD, WCC
Clinical Instructor
Board certified general surgeon by American Board of Surgery with over 25 years general surgical experience. Expertise in wound care, medical-legal consulting, general and vascular surgery, and advanced science education.
Scott Batie
MPT, RPT, MEd, WCC
Clinical Instructor
As a Licensed Physical Therapist with years of teaching
and wound care experience, Scott Batie combines his
expertise in advanced wound care, rehab management,
and staff development along with his Master’s in Education
to provide a stimulating and enjoyable teaching experience.
Cynthia M. Broadus
RN, BSHA, LNHA, CLNC, CLNI, CHCRM, WCC
Clinical Instructor
A Wound Care Certified Nurse, Cynthia Broadus
brings to her role as a clinical instructor her extensive
background in advanced wound care consultations and
legal nurse consulting. With experience in risk management,
nursing rehabilitation, quality assurance, long-term care
facility management , and staff education, Broadus
incorporates both a dynamic and entertaining approach
to learning.
John Ferguson
RN, WCC
Clinical Instructor
As a Wound Care Certified Nurse, John
Ferguson brings his expertise in neurology, advanced wound
care consultations, staff education, and home care agency
management to his role as a clinical instructor. Ferguson's
systematic teaching approach simplifies the content to maximize
learning.
Janet Kovach,
RN, BSHA, CLNC, WCC
Clinical Instructor
In addition to being a Wound Care Certified
Nurse, Janet Kovach has expertise in advanced wound care consultations,
legal nurse consulting, facility crisis management, long-term
care consulting, and JCAHO and infection control program management.
As a wound care clinician, Kovach brings her vast bedside
experience into the teaching forum. Kovach is the author of
various policies, procedures, and wound care newsletters.
Bill Richlen
PT, CWS, WCC
Clinical Instructor
A Licensed Physical Therapist, Bill Richlen has years of
experience in advanced wound care consultations and
staff education. His expertise in diverse settings such
as long-term care rehab management, skilled rehabilitation, and
outpatient and home health enhance his role as a
clinical instructor. |
