At WCEI, we deliver world-class wound care instruction using top-notch credentialed wound care instructors from various health care disciplines and diverse settings.  Our wound care instructors bring with them the most current educational research, materials, and products from their clinical practices to our programs.

All our presenters adhere to WCEI’s wound care instruction philosophy of driving knowledge down to the bedside level, making wound care instruction open and accessible to all qualified health care professionals, and making the wound care instruction experience useful, practical, dynamic, interesting, fun and beneficial to attendees and their patients.

Nancy Morgan
RN, BSN, MBA, WOC, WCC, DWC, OMS
Co-Founder of WCEI/Clinical Wound Care Instructor

An RN and certified in wound care Nancy combines her expertise of wound care instruction and wound management program development with her business management and marketing knowledge. Nancy is a nursing entrepreneur, who is an experienced and recognized international presenter. Her motivational teaching style has inspired health care professionals across the nation. It was Nancy’s entrepreneurial spirit that led her to co-create the Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI).


Donna Sardina
RN, MHA, WCC, DWC, OMS
Co-Founder/Clinical Wound Care Instructor

A Wound Care Certified Nurse with more than 30+ years of progressive nursing experience, Donna Sardina is an expert in wound management, wound care instruction, program development, and facility crisis management. Responsible for creating WCEI’s course content, Donna’s practical approach to learning allows students to easily incorporate their new knowledge into their daily practice. Donna is a widely published author in the field of wound care. She is a co-founder of the Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI).


Dr. Don Wollheim
MD, FAPWCA, WCC, DWC
Clinical Wound Care Instructor

Board certified general surgeon by the American Board of Surgery with over 25 years general surgical experience, Dr. Wollheim has extensive expertise in wound care, medical-legal consulting, general and vascular surgery, and advanced science education.



Scott Batie
MPT, RPT, MEd, WCC, DWC, OMS
Clinical Instructor

As a Licensed Physical Therapist with years of teaching and wound care experience, Scott Batie combines his expertise in advanced wound care, rehab management, and staff development along with his Master’s in Education to provide a stimulating and enjoyable teaching experience.




Bill Richlen
PT, CWS, WCC, DWC
Clinical Instructor

A Licensed Physical Therapist, Bill Richlen has years of experience in advanced wound care consultations and staff education. His expertise in diverse settings such as long-term care rehab management, skilled rehabilitation, and outpatient and home health enhance his role as a clinical instructor.



Gail Hebert ♣♣
RN, BSN, MS, CWCN, WCC, DWC, OMS


Gail has been a registered nurse for 35 years, and has practiced in the area of wound care for the over 20 years. She holds a BS and MS degrees in nursing, and is certified in wound care through the NAWC and the WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Society). A former DON in LTC and current holder of a LTC Administrator’s license in Virginia, she has practiced in a variety of settings, including community education and hospice.


Hali McCravy

RN, BSN, WCC, DWC, OMS
Clinical Instructor


As an RN, Hali has over 13 years experience in wound care, starting with the Burn ICU and later as a member of the wound care team at a home health company. Her previous experience in the entertainment industry makes her teaching style unique with fun and flair.


Jennifer Oakley
RN, WCC, DWC, OMS
Clinical Instructor


As an RN who is certified in Wound Care and Diabetic Wound Care, Jennifer comes to us with an extensive background in the Long Term Care industry. She has held many titles including Nurse Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, Infection Control Nurse, and Staff Development Coordinator, all of which has enhanced the implementation of a successful wound care program focused on prevention and staff education. Her animated teaching style makes learning enjoyable.

Joy Hooper    
RN, BSN, CWOCN, OMS
Clinical Instructor

As an RN with over twenty years of wound and ostomy care experience, Joy has practiced in a variety of hospital and in-home care settings. She is a successful nurse entrepreneur and is certified by the WOCN as a CWOCN and by the NAWCO as an OMS.   With extensive expertise in ostomy management, care, and education, she brings her enthusiastic passion for anything ostomy to the learning experience. Her relaxed and down-to-earth teaching methods enable students to learn easily in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
