From the novice to the well-seasoned veteran, this session will provide a step-by-step approach for conducting the perfect wound assessment. This includes tissue types, wound etiologies, and pressure ulcer staging.

- Describe the elements of a wound assessment
- Identify pressure ulcers utilizing NPUAP staging guidelines
- Identify tissue types commonly found in wounds
