Webinar Description:
This course covers 5 of the factors important for wound healing. Barriers to wound healing such as inappropriate moisture balance, decreased oxygen levels, medications and other impediments to healing are discussed. Finally, must-have wound care products and myths about wound healing are described. 

Target Audience: Nurses, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals interested in wound care.

About the Speaker:
Tracy has been practicing wound care for the last 30 years. Tracy has practiced as a wound nurse in the acute care setting, long-term and assisted living, outpatient, and home care setting. Tracy owned and operated a very successful outpatient wound clinic. She is a board certified Legal Nurse Consultant and sits as an expert witness in wound care, long term care, skilled nursing facilities, etc. Tracy has been teaching wound care and legal documentation courses for the last 15 years. Tracy is a WCC and DWC. She has no conflicts of interest.
