Webinar Description:
This learning opportunity will review the underlying pathophysiology of chronic venous leg ulcers and the attributes of those ulcers. Current best evidence will be presented to update the attendee’s knowledge regarding management of lower extremity venous disease, and venous leg ulcers.

Target Audience: Nurses, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals interested in wound care.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Wollheim is Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.  He has 25+ years of experience in general/vascular surgery and wound care, as well as extensive experience in medical-legal consulting and teaching college advance science courses.  His teaching style includes emphasizing the fundamental concepts of wound care, incorporating additional visual aids, and utilizing clinical scenarios during his presentations.  He is the lead instructor for the Diabetic Wound Certified® (DWC®) course and is also on the Editorial Advisory Boards of Wound Care Advisor and Wound Central® electronic journals.
