Webinar Description:
Peristomal skin complications are a frequent problem with up to 60% of individuals with a stoma. These skin complications and associated symptoms (pain, irritation, and odor) can significantly interfere with daily physical activities, leading to social isolation, anxiety, depression, and a reduced quality of life. This 1-hour presentation will focus on some of the most common peristomal complications, seen with both urinary and fecal stomas, including etiology, identification and treatment. Live webinar recording sponsored by McKesson.
