The purpose of this presentation will be to give a review of the treatment of COVID-19, the impact of COVID-19 on the skin and how to determine wound treatment plans as well as diagnostic interventions that can help to determine underlying complications versus COVID-19's impact.
Target Audience: Nurses, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals interested in wound care.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Dashner obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Florida in 2021, Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Purdue Global University in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kaplan University graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2015. She is currently the Senior Nurse Practitioner over the Wound Care Program for Promedica Health Care Partners and practices in Palm Beach Gardens Florida. Dianna also holds certifications as a wound care nurse, certified legal nurse consultant as well as lymphedema of the lower extremity certification. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Florida Nurses Association, Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society, National Association of Wound Care as the second chair, National Association Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
