Compression is well known as the gold standard for managing venous leg ulcer (VLU) and reducing recurrence, yet patients still struggle to be compliant. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them wear compression! Providing the patient with accurate, palatable, and evidencedbased knowledge can assist in the struggle of managing the chronicity of VLU’s.

About the Speaker:
Christopher Miles is an occupational therapist that is trained and certified in both lymphedema and wound care management. He has been working in the compression world for over 15 years serving as a clinician, industry expert, and clinical educator. He is currently employed by mediUSA as a Senior Manager for Clinical Services, and both participates and leads a clinical educational team that travels the country bringing educational opportunities to both lymphedema and wound care specialists.
