Webinar Description:
It never fails. Documentation can either make or break a case and a clinician. With the HITECH Act, to include incentives for use, and penalties if not used, the EMR and EHR are gaining momentum. But what is an EMR?, EHR?, PHI?. Isn't it all the same? Won't being electronic mean better wound documentation? Not necessarily. In this session Cindy clears up the questions you have about each, and discusses what you can do to ensure that the wound assessment section of your EMR/EHR is thorough and complete. (This is a pre-recorded session from the 2012 Wild On Wounds National Conference.)

About the Speaker:
A Wound Care Certified Nurse, Cindy Broadus brings to her role as a clinical instructor her extensive background in advanced wound care consultations and legal nurse consulting.
