Webinar Description:
A fistula is an opening that is usually in two areas of the body that are normally not connected. It can occur in many parts of the body and may not always be so easy to manage. Some may heal on their own while others may require treatment. They can interrupt the day-to-day bodily functions, and be embarrassing for the patient. Join us and learn how to do a proper fistula assessment. We will also talk about how to manage fistulas with or without pouches. (This is a pre-recorded session from the Wild On Wounds National Conference.)
