Program Purpose Statement:
The overall purpose of this program is to provide participants with current evidence based education in the area of skin and wound management and upon completion will enable participants to accurately assess, document, identify and plan appropriate & comprehensive patient treatment plans and interventions for wound management.
The curriculum is designed and taught by a wound care specialist in a highly energetic and interactive classroom environment. This 5-day course will prepare you for the board certified Wound Care Certification (WCC®) exam administered by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO®)
If you are a licensed healthcare professional in nursing, therapy or medicine you can become wound care certified if you meet the eligibility requirements for examination.
