Dr. Wollheim is Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is the medical and supervising advisor for an outpatient wound care clinic including its monoplace hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber in Racine, Wisconsin.
He has been in clinical practice since 1981 and has over 25 years of experience in general/vascular surgery, medical-legal consultation, as well as teaching college advance science courses.
His teaching style includes emphasizing the fundamental concepts of the curriculum, incorporating additional visual aids, and utilizing clinical scenarios.
He is the lead instructor for the Diabetic Wound Certified (DWC) course and had been on the Editorial Advisory Boards of Wound Care Advisor and Wound Central electronic journals.
