Our Editorial Process: How We Ensure Quality on WCEI.net

The Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI)  strives to empower wound care professionals to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based training programs in skin, wound, diabetic, and ostomy management. To date, over 40,000 clinicians have been wound care-certified or recertified after taking our courses.

The information on this page refers to our editorial processes around the content we publish on WCEI.net, not our educational course content. Our blogs, clinical guides, and other content found on WCEI.net follow a rigorous editorial process designed to uphold trust, transparency, and clinical integrity.

Our courses are updated every three years (minimum) to reflect regulatory changes — guaranteeing the content is always accurate and relevant. Our courses are led by experienced healthcare professionals who are experts in their fields, ensuring that learners receive top-tier instruction backed by real-world knowledge and best practices.

WCEI’s parent company, Relias, is a trusted leader in workforce education and enablement solutions. And like Relias, WCEI.net upholds the highest editorial standards across all content formats, from continuing education modules to professional development and career resources.
