Wound Care Rocks Alumni Group

What is Wound Care Rocks? 

Wound Care Rocks is WCEI's alumni group that gives members peer networking opportunities and open discussion of wound care topics. The Wound Care Rocks group helps members stay up to date on the latest industry news, educational resources, and numerous other benefits that promote professional development in the wound care space. 

Currently, Wound Care Rocks is only active on our Facebook group, with over 6,500 members. 

When Can I Join the Wound Care Rocks Alumni Group? 

This group is not open to the general public, but only to clinicians and industry professionals that have successfully completed WCEI's one-week onsite course or our 90-day online certification course. Completion of any of the onsite/online course formats listed below makes you eligible to join Wound Care Rocks: 

• Skin and Wound Management Course (WCC®, NWCC™, CWCMS™)
• Ostomy Management Specialist Course (OMS®)
• Diabetic Wound Management Course (DWC®)

Guidelines + Rules

To foster open and thoughtful discussion among alumni, Wound Care Rocks has a number of guidelines put in place. Any content or comments that violate the guidelines below will be removed as soon as possible.

Alumni Group Guidelines

• Profane, defamatory, offensive or violent language
• Attacks on specific groups or any comments meant to harass, threaten or abuse an individual
• Hateful or discriminatory comments regarding race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation or political beliefs
• Spam, link baiting or files containing viruses that could damage the operation of other people’s computers or mobile devices
• Commercial solicitations
• Promotion of competing products, services, or brands
• Content that violates HIPAA privacy and security policies
