Tammy Wilfong is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of experience treating patients with wounds. Her management of patient care spans all ages—from newborns to seniors—and covers a range of healthcare settings.  Driven by the importance of the entire multi-specialty team’s involvement, Tammy’s passion is ensuring smooth transitions from one level of care to another. 

In acute care, Tammy has facilitated the development of robust skin champion and hospital-acquired pressure injury prevention programs.  In the outpatient setting, she opened a successful NP run outpatient wound care clinic for a major healthcare system in the Chicago area.
