Funding your wound care education

Don’t let education costs stand in the way of taking the next steps in your career. There are many options for funding the valuable accredited wound care and ostomy education WCEI provides. 

Credit card

Pay in full by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or JCB

Affirm 

Affirm offers loans for online purchases with fixed monthly payment terms. Affirm’s payment options are subject to an eligibility check. Learn more about using Affirm here

Employer tuition assistance 

If your employer doesn’t offer tuition assistance, use WCEI’s downloadable Tuition Assistance Agreement to negotiate reimbursement terms.

Military spousal assistance (MyCAA) 

MyCAA gives funding to eligible military spouses to train for portable jobs in growing fields. WCEI is an approved educational institution with MyCAA. 

Tuition tax write-off 

If you’re traveling to a conference or CE event related to your practice, you may be able to write off your expenses. 

Unemployment 

Some organizations or state programs may include education benefits with unemployment packages. Contact your local unemployment agency to determine benefits and eligibility and request the necessary application forms. Once approved, it’s important to contact us, as each state's payment process varies. 

Unrestricted education grants 

Contact your facility supervisor or purchasing department about unrestricted education grants. Grants are provided through contracted wound care suppliers or vendors. WCEI receives tuition payments directly from the supplier.
