At WCEI®, we deliver world-class wound care training. Our top-notch, credentialed wound care instructors represent various health care disciplines and diverse settings, and they bring with them the most current educational research, materials and products from their own clinical practices and our programs.

Nancy Morgan
RN, BSN, MBA, WOC, DWC, OMS
WCEI® Cofounder and Clinical Consultant
It was Nancy’s entrepreneurial spirit that led her to co-create the Wound Care Education Institute® (WCEI®).  She has been a registered nurse for over 20 years and is board certified in wound, ostomy and diabetic wounds.  She is a dynamic public speaker and international presenter whose motivational teaching style has inspired health care professionals across the nation and around the world.

Ann Avery RN, CWCN, LNC, WCC
Clinical Instructor
Ann has an extensive background in wound care education, wound program management and legal issues.  Her motivational teaching style delivers enhanced wound knowledge to health care professionals across the nation.

Bill Richlen
PT, WCC, DWC
Clinical Instructor
A Licensed Physical Therapist, Bill has experience in advanced wound care consultations in long-term care, outpatient, skilled rehabilitation and home health. He has served as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students, been the Director of several large rehabilitation departments, and has been providing multi-disciplinary wound care education to nurses and therapists for over 17 years. His expertise in diverse settings enhance his role as a clinical instructor. Bill’s dynamic and captivating teaching style keep’s attendee’s attention throughout the course.

Don Wollheim
MD, FAPWCA, WCC, DWC
Clinical Instructor
Dr. Wollheim is Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.  He has 25+ years of experience in general/vascular surgery and wound care, as well as extensive experience in medical-legal consulting and teaching college advance science courses.  His teaching style includes emphasizing the fundamental concepts of wound care, incorporating additional visual aids, and utilizing clinical scenarios during his presentations.  He is the lead instructor for the Diabetic Wound Certified® (DWC®) course and is also on the Editorial Advisory Boards of Wound Care Advisor and Wound Central® electronic journals. Joy Hooper

As an RN with over 20 years of wound and ostomy care experience, Joy has practiced in a variety of hospital and home care settings. She is a successful nurse entrepreneur, and is board certified by the WOCN as a CWOCN, and by the NAWCO® as a WCC and OMS. Her informal and down-to-earth teaching methods enable students to learn easily in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. Joy is the lead instructor of our Ostomy.

Denise Richlen
PT, CLT, WCC, DWC
Clinical Instructor
Denise is a Licensed PT with extensive experience in Wound Care, Diabetic Issues and  Lymphedema Treatment.  She has worked for 30+ years in management, education and wound care mentoring in the SNF/ LTC, Acute Care, Home Health and Private Practice settings. Disclosure: Denise Richlen, PT, WCC, DWC, CLT, is a licensed Physical Therapist, Wound Care Certified and Diabetic Wound Certified by the NAWCO, and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She disclosed that her spouse is an independent contractor for Anacapa Technologies.

Tracy Lynn Rodgers
RN, BSN, LNCC, RN-CLTC, WCC, DWC
Clinical Instructor
Tracy has been practicing wound care for the last 30 years.  Tracy has practiced as a wound nurse in the acute care setting, long-term and assisted living, outpatient, and home care setting.  Tracy owned and operated a very successful outpatient wound clinic.  She is a board certified Legal Nurse Consultant and sits as an expert witness in wound care, long term care, skilled nursing facilities, etc.  Tracy has been teaching wound care and legal documentation courses for the last 15 years.  Tracy is a WCC and DWC.    She has no conflicts of interest.
Tracy has been practicing wound care for the last 30 years. Acute, LTC and Assisted Living, outpatient and home care settings.
Anita Prinz
RN, MSN, CWOCN, WCC , OMS
Clinical Instructor
Anita joined the nursing profession in 1995 after a career in fashion. She quickly found her niche in the wound, ostomy, and continence specialty and became certified in 2001. Thirsty for more knowledge, she obtained a master’s degree in Nursing in 2009.  Anita has served on several committees for the WOCN Society and is the lead author of their Best Practice Guideline for Ostomy Discharge Planning. Anita has presented professional posters, written many articles for The Phoenix, and is currently the “Ask the Ostomy Nurse” for this journal. As a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, she strives to provide a holistic approach to wound and ostomy care and is also trained in Healing Touch. She has experience teaching wound and ostomy care in both acute care and home care. In addition to teaching the Skin & Wound Management Course for WCEI®, Anita offers private home care consulting services, legal nurse consulting, and presents educational sessions to health care clinicians.
