This session will outline key criteria required for an accurate wound assessment
including review of common tissue types, National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel
(NPUAP) Pressure Injury Staging Guidelines and common characteristics of pressure, moisture, venous, arterial and diabetic wounds.

Seminar Objectives:
Upon conclusion participants will be able to:
• Identify tissue types commonly found in chronic and acute wounds.
• Measure a wound for documentation.
• Differentiate between pressure, moisture, and circulatory wounds based
  upon characteristics.
