This session will be an expert discussion on the current challenges across the health care continuum which impact wound healing with a special emphasis on nutritional approaches and product solutions to address nutritional status, muscle mass, and wound progression.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Nancy Collins is a wound care certified registered dietitian based in Las Vegas, NV and is nationally known for her expertise in the complex relationship between malnutrition, body composition, and tissue regeneration. She has over 25 years of hands-on practitioner experience in clinical nutrition and consulting. Dr. Collins has a long history of service to the nutrition profession and has served as president of the Florida Dietetic Association, chair of the Nutrition Entrepreneurs, delegate in the House of Delegates and numerous other positions.

Frank is a passionate wound care clinician with over 30 years of experience. He is the Wound Care Service Line Director for Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in an administrative & a clinical role providing direction for wound care services throughout the continuum of care. Frank is board certified as a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) through the American Board of Wound Management, Advanced Wound Care Certified (AWCC) through National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO), and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS).  Frank also lectures nationally and internationally on wound care &/or lymphedema related topics
