Webinar Description:
Contemporary nursing is associated with the risk of being sued for patient care. A clear message in the medico-legal literature is that quality documentation showing critical thinking and good communication is the best defense against successful plaintiff litigation. This session will describe critical aspects of medico-legal issues about which nurses should be informed especially for wound care as they interact with attorneys from the mythical law firm of “Dewy, Cheatham, and Howe.”

Target Audience: Nurses, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals interested in wound care.
